A Chocolate fondue fountain is either categorized as a personal or home model chocolate fountain, or as a commercial Chocolate Fondue Fountain. Personal or home fountains typically are much smaller and contain plastic components that do not satisfy health & safety requirements in a commercial environment. A commercial chocolate fountain is manufactured using food grade stainless steel and found in heights that range from 25” tall to 52” tall, and hold from 10 to 35 pounds of chocolate.
Many chocolate fondue fountains are not capable of melting chocolate directly in the fountain base so chocolate must be melted first in a microwave or using a double boiler.
