Chocolate Fountain Manufacturers of Commercial Fountains
There are several primary commercial
chocolate fountain
manufacturers: Design & Realisation, known as DR, who is
based out of Montreal; Gilles and Posner®, based out of the UK, Buffet Enhancements International, Inc.® based in Alabama; and Sephra®, based in California. DR
is the only manufacturer who provides in-house design and
manufacturing.

The commercial chocolate
fountain concept was pioneered by Mr. Michel
Esnault who founded Design and Realisation
(DR), a company that produces commercial grade
pastry tools and equipment. DR equipment
is used by professional chefs and Culinary
schools around the world including The French
Pastry School and Callebaut Institute. In
1991, DR developed and produced the first
Commercial Chocolate Fondue Fountain that has
become such a prestigious interactive
centerpiece at special functions. Early
production units are still being utilized
today and DR continues to lead the way in
commercial chocolate fountain innovation and
reliability.
Due to the chocolate
fountain's popularity, manufacturers of
commercial chocolate fountains have grown.
Some manufacturers are innovative and some are
not. Some manufacturers provide prompt and low
cost repair services and some do not.
