Traditional shapes or brand new, stylish chocolate fountains will make an interactive centerpiece of flowing chocolate and chocolate fondue to feed and entertain large groups! Party-goers will be entertained by dipping food items into flowing tiers of decadent chocolate. New commercial chocolate fountains serving chocolate fondue come in interesting styles with ground breaking options (i.e., square tier shape fountains and fountains that serve two chocolate flavors at one time). Traditional chocolate fountains look like a multi-tired chocolate wedding cake.

Chocolate fountains are categorized as either personal chocolate fountains or commercial chocolate fountains. Commercial chocolate fountains are made up of stainless steel and come in a variety of sizes to suit events under 120 people and events over 400. Home chocolate fountains are typically made of plastic and hold 1-3 pounds of chocolate, which are not well suited for large entertaining venues. Large groups require much larger machines to adequately feed and entertain the party size.

Chocolate Fondue is chocolate in its liquid form. When placed in a chocolate fountain, the chocolate is transported to the top of the fountain by a pump or corkscrew type auger. Commercial chocolate fondue fountains move chocolate to the top of the fountain with an auger and the entire machine is made of food grade stainless steel.  Pump driven models can clog so are not preferred in commercial applications and plastic is not acceptable for catering applications.
