Design & Realisation,
also known as "DR™", a Montreal based chocolate and pastry
equipment manufacturer since 1971, began manufacturing chocolate
fountains in 1991, over 17 years ago. Competitors claims of
manufacturing "fountains" for 17 years, etc., is misleading and
is in reference to champagne or water fountains--not commercial
chocolate
fountains. Chocolate fountain rivals are substantially
different and lack the experience and product durability.
DR™ is the only chocolate fountain
manufacturer who has long term chocolate fountain manufacturing
experience and established product reliability.

Product Information...
Each fountain is
precisely engineered to ensure durability and ease of
operation. Unnecessary components have been omitted, resulting
in a streamlined design, fewer parts to break and easier to
operate.
- Each fountain is
proportionate in design, resulting in an appealing
chocolate flow. No goofy looking top tier or inverted flow of
chocolate due to poor design. The size of the base has been
reduced by 2" in height to reduce weight and increase handling
ease. Dimensions of dipping area not affected.
- DR™
fountains do not burn your chocolate. The thermostat
properly regulates the temperature in conjunction with the
heating element and is worry free. Melt chocolate directly
in the base or pre-melt and pour in.
- The motor is unique to
the DR™ Chocolate Fountains and made EXCLUSIVELY for DR™.
The power of this proprietary motor is equally distributed on
the stainless steel auger for optimal performance.
- The auger design was
introduced by DR™ to eliminate the need for a "pump system"
which can easily become clogged. Competitor models are
similar in design but the quality of the DR™ auger is evident
and it's durability is a testament to this. DR™ augers do
not wear out. This state-of-the-art design is unmatched.
- The crown and tiers
are 304 food-grade stainless steel. The Med/Large
design is state-of-the-art, alleviating unnecessary weight
yet retaining mass where needed for long term durability.
The tiers are sleek, without set screws or other mechanisms
to hold them in place. No need to adjust or level tiers! The
crown omits small areas that can trap chocolate or water in
the cleaning process.

- Our patented SplashGuard™
is very attractive and effective. These 100% food grade
stainless steel guards rest on the base of your chocolate
fountain basin and provides a valuable function. They
maintain approximately 95% of the chocolate INSIDE the
fountain area--not on the table or linens! Plus, chocolate
will no longer accumulate on the lip of the fountain and
drip into the air ventilation holes, keeping chocolate from
getting inside the base.
